A Comedy with Music
by Neil Simon & Anton Chekhov
A combination of Neil Simon and Chekhov, The Good Doctor, a comedy with music, is, by turns, charming, hilarious, sad, and touching. The play exposes the ridiculous, tender, outlandish, ludicrous, innocent, and weird frailties of human beings. Each scene tells its own story, but the behavior of the characters and the resolutions of their stories are not typical or predictable.
